1.) This is a high quality, made in the USA, Starrett Bandsaw blade welded to 6ft 6inch.
2.) Patented Bi-metal Unique technology creates a stronger bond between the teeth and blade backing than the competitor's blades. This is what makes Starrett's blades top of the line in the industry!
3.) I would recommend this band for all but the hardest of metals. It will last around 5 to 10 times longer on metals than standard carbon steel flexback blade. The fine 18 tooth-per-inch pitch is great for most metals 1/2" in thickness and smaller - For example thin walled tubes and small bar stock.
