This is Favorite Fairaisles by Lois Blystone.  This book contains 9 sweaters all knit in fairaisle using designs which are included in the book.  All of the sweaters can be knit on any electronic machine and most can be knit on the punchcard models. You can use any fairaisle designs that you like, you aren't restricted to using just the ones in the book.  All the patterns are written so the bust measurement is of the garment so you can allow the amount of ease you like.  The underarm and sleeve length is also given in inches so you will know how many rows to knit to get the proper length.  This includes a wide range of styles with long and short sleeves.  There is also many different neckline styles.   This includes Fairaisle Cardigan in sizes 36 through 52 with gauge of 8sts & 10 rows =1", Placket and collar in szies 36 through 50 with gauge of 7.75 st & 9 rows =1", Geometric in sizes 36 through 50 in gauge of 7.25 st & 10 rows =1", Lined Motif pullover in sizes 36-50 gauge of 6.75 sts & 9.5 rs =1", Isolated pullover in sizes 36-50 , Chevrons pullover in sizes 36-50, Snowflake pullover in sizes 36-50, Pretty pastels pullover in sizes 36-50 and Diamonds pullover in sizes 36-50.     Most patterns call for Tamm yarns such as astracryl, rayito and sport shetland or any yarn that matches the gauges.   Excellent book.
