    Description

    You are bidding on a computer designed/printed Greytcovers by W.J. Wladyka (USCS #9915) naval cover (design #286)(#10/11) commemorating the commissioning of the USCGC Waesche WMSL-751 on 7 May 2010.
    Homeported at Coast Guard Island in Alameda, California, Coast Guard Cutter Waesche, the second of eight planned National Security Cutters, is 418 feet long with a top speed of 28 knots and a range of 12,000 nautical miles. She is equipped with a flight deck and hangars capable of housing two multi-mission helicopters, and outfitted with the most advanced command, control, and communications equipment.
    The cover is cancelled with a pictorial postmark on 7 May 2010 at Alameda, CA 94501 and is franked with a 44c 'Flag' stamp.
    Overall cover condition is very good. The cover is a standard No. 6-3/4, 3-5/8 x 6-1/2". The blue around the edge is part of the background.
