Description
A Naval Cover with 2 Thermograph Cachets commemorating multiple Ship's Cancels, a total of 11, for the Shakedown Cruise of the USS Tarpon (SS-175). Dated 27 April, through 25 June,1936, with each Port Call identified in the killer bars of each cancel. Cachets and cancels are arranged in a booklet format. A very unique format of ship cancels and cachets designed by PeeJay Ickeringil. Cover is in excellent condition.
