You are bidding on a computer designed/printed Greytcovers by W.J. Wladyka (USCS #9915) naval cover (design #501)(#4 of 12) commemorating the 30th anniversary of the commissioning of the USS Tennessee SSBN-734.
USS Tennessee (SSBN-734) is a United States Navy Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine that has been in commission since 1988. She is the fourth ship and first submarine of the U.S. Navy to be named for Tennessee the 16th state.
The cover is cancelled with a well-struck pictorial postmark on 17 Dec. 2018 at Groton, CT 06340 and is franked with a Forever Flag stamp.
Overall cover condition is very good. The cover is a standard No. 6-3/4, 3-5/8 x 6-1/2". The blue around the edge is part of the background.
