    Description

    USS Macon ZRS-5 Zeppelin Flight Cover (not flown), USS Pennsylvania, December 17, 1934, with Edward Hacker and R.S. Ewing, double cachets.  Mellone's Ullman shows the Hacker San Francisco/National Aviation Day cachet for a USS INDIANAPOLIS COVER (#19 for the date);  The R.S. Ewing 3-line Macon over the Golden Gate cachet on the reverse is shown in Mellone's Ullmann as #'s 23.1 & 23.2.  Ewing was the PENNSYLVANIA Mail Clerk; his stamp also appears on the reverse.
    Condition is as shown in the pics.  The cover shows minimal toning and is in quite nice shape - exhibition quality!
