    first day cover postmarked in Norcross, GA on January 27, 2017.
    Color photo of actual carrier flight deck on cachet #1774 by Alvin Eckert,
    USCS #9964. Cover franked with a 55 cent flag stamp (FDOI) on a 33 cent
    Lincoln gummed stamped envelope # U-645.
    Cover prepared on an Archive Quality Envelope without gum on flap.

    USS Abraham Lincoln: This fine 1,092' Nimitz Class carrier assisted after
    the tsunami disaster off Banda Aceh, Indonesia on February 5, 2005. She
    also  serving on a 2019 mission to the Persian Gulf.
    The vessel was commissioned on 11 November 1989 and was refitted
    updated, etc. at the Newport News Shipyard in 2018.
