    Uncle Sam's hat stamp.

    USS New Hampshire, a 377 foot long Virginia Class attack submarine,
    was named for the State of New Hampshire and was launched on
    1 May 2007. The vessel was commissioned on 25 October 2008 and
    is now on active service with the Atlantic Fleet home-ported at Groton, CT.
