    USS PALM BEACH AGER-3 Memorial naval first day cover with postmark
    from Fort Lauderdale, FL dated Feb 9, 2018. Blue photo of actual ship
    printed on cachet #1500 by Alvin Eckert USCS #9964. Originally, a 177' Army Cargo Ship, FS-217,
    acquired by the Navy in 1966. She was renamed USS Palm Beach and converted into an
    secret intelligence gathering vessel and commissioned on 13 Oct 1967 and served in the North Sea

    Cover franked with 50 cent flag stamp (FDOI) and a 3 cent USN stamp from 1946.
