    Description

    USS United States was a wooden-hulled, three masted frigate, the first of six authorized for construction in 1794. Launched in 1797, her first Captain was John Barry. Cover is postmarked May 30, 2021, with a pictorial cancel, marking the virtual New York City Fleet week.
